Stuck at the Airport

I'm flying home this weekend so that I can be at a retirement party for my dad and some of his friends. The plan was to leave work right away at 3:30 so that I could rush to LAX to catch my flight. When I arrived at the airport I was informed that my flight would be delayed by 2 and 1/2 hours....booooo. So now I'm just sitting at the airport.
