Dan and I decided to take a little break from the coast to head inland to see the 'Iao Needle (a 2,250 foot peak known as the phallic stone to Kanaloa). We were a little disappointed that it was so cloudy up there, but apparently there's hardly ever clear skies in that area. It was pretty amazing and while we were there we took a mini hike along a gorgeous stream. We should have brought our bathing suits because there were a ton of people just relaxing and swimming in the small stone pools.
