Dolphins/Chargers Game ~ San Diego

This weekend, we met Don and Soph down in San Diego for a Chargers/Dolphins game. Don loves the fins, and Dan, of course, is a Chargers fan. Don and Soph flew in Friday morning and Dan and I drove down Saturday night. When we got to their hotel, we had a few drinks on their balcony before heading off to the Fishery for dinner. The weather was perfect and the view was so peaceful and pretty.

Sunday morning was pretty exciting! After getting some breaky and watching a few of the early games in the room, we headed out to the game. Here are the guys just before we left the hotel, holding our Row 4 tickets!

We were all pretty excited when we got to the game. The stadium was enormous...70,000!! The game started off with fireworks and a helicopter fly-by. There was even some sky-typing a little later on. The excitement down on the field was intense, as was the heat. As we got into the 3rd and 4th quarters, it did manage to cool off a little.

Although we were at Qualcomm Stadium, there were definitely a ton of Dolphins fans around (Don was a little worried that he'd be the only one).

We had such a great time with Don and Soph and can't wait for our next NFL game together. We all decided that next time, we're getting tickets for a winter game...we were buying water like crazy today...at $5.25 a pop!!

Don and Soph, see you in two weeks!
