I hope everyone had a fun Valentine's Day! Dan surprised me with a trip up to the (newly reopened) Griffith Park Observatory and Planetarium. It's way at the top of Griffith Park Mountain, you can't drive up there - you have to catch a shuttle. The grounds and observatory are so beautiful and the view from the top is breathtaking. We had dinner along the outer edge of the balcony (looking over LA just after the sun set) before touring the galaxy. The show at the planetarium is amazing - it really make you realize what a tiny little speck we are in the universe. Anyone who has the chance to head up there should definitely check it out!
